ANNUAL REPORT

Annual Sports Day was Celebrated on 30th April 2011.71 students had participated in K.V.S. Regional Sports in different discipline like KHO-KHO,HANDBALL,CRICKET,CHESS and JUDO. KVMuzaffarnagar achieved IIIrd position in KHO-KHO boys and girls under 14 and HANDBALL boys under 14.                              07 student were selected for K.V.S. National Sports meet.Akash Tomer of class XI got Silver medal in Judo in KVS National sports meet. held at Gwalior.Students name for national participation are:

In session 2009-10 the Vidyalaya had conducted class wise Football and Cricket Tourment for Boys. Kho and Kabaddi for girls. Athletic events class wise from class I to XII for boys and girls were also conducted.

Master Harsh Shivam Singh of class IXA had participated in 25^th all India Karate Championship held at Nur Singh Stadium, Ranikhet (Distt. Almora) Uttarakhand from 23^rd to 26^th May,2009. He was awarded 3^rd Position.

ACTIVITIES 2008-09

The School had conducted Class wise and House wise Tournaments in Kho-Kho, Cricket, Football.The School had selected students for regional games and sports meet in the following games.

Regional Sports & Games Meet(Kho-Kho Girls) was conducted in the Vidyalaya on 4th Sept, 2008.The meet was organised for 3 days w.e.f. 4th Sept,2008 to 6th Sept,2008.

21 teams had participated in the meet. The winning teams were:

4. K.V. NER Bareilly

The school had selected 12 students for National Meet from 21 teams. Those 12 students were trained under the Kho-Kho Coaching Camp organised by our School w.e.f. 5th Oct,2008 to 10th Oct,2008. Further the team selected and trained got First Prize in National Meet.The names of 12 students are:

SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION

Kendriya Vidylaya Muzaffaranagar celebrated ‘CHILDREN’S DAY’ as its ‘ANNUAL SPORTS DAY’ on 14.112008.Mr. Subhash Chandra Sharma IAS, VMC chairman and District Magistrate, blessed the children and gave away prizes as the chief guest of the ceremony.Mr. Sanjeev Baliyan,Arjuna Awardee and Mr. Vishnu Rattan also distributed prizes and addressed the children. Mrs. Rama Raghuram, Principal in her vote of thanks, appreciated the children and called up them for excellence in Games and Sports, co-curricular and academic activities. Mr. Ghanshyam, ‘Badal’ convenved the programme and organized the stage. Under the guidance of Mrs. Sushma Ahlawat Ma. Aman Taygi, Nikhil, Aman Chaudhary,Adesh Baliyan,Prateek and Ms. Shivani, Ambika Tyagi, Pooja, Rashmi and Siddharth Maan won the Gold Medals in their respective events while Ma. Shubham Chaudhary,Priyanka Malik,Vandana Saini,Eshita,Manvi Bhatt,Ayush Arora,Tanu Rana,Ankit Chandra,Gautam Malik,Amit Kumar etc. participated actively and received prizes from the Chief Guest. Ma. Shridhar Sharma and Ms. Shiksha Shakya welcomed the guestes.The whole programme proved to be a great success

The vidyalaya has very good facility of hockey, basket ball, football, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi,Atletics 200 Meter Track,Volley Ball and badminton.
