CCA REPORT 2011-12 KVS DAY CELEBRATION Foundation Day of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was observed in a graceful manner. The programe started with 'Bhaarat Ka Sarnini Gaurav.....'.Principal Sh. N.K. Pandey read out the message of Hon'ble commissiner Sh. Avinash Dikshit" The short but sweet cultural programme was presented on this occasion. Prize distribution for Co-Curricular activities during the session 2010-11 and 2011-12 were given away to the students and achievers in other fields eg. Academics,Scout & Guides etc. Almost 500 prizes were given to them respectively on 14th and 15th of December 2011. Shining faces of the students were reflecting their pleasure and excitment of receiving the prizes. Mrs. Akshay Kumari,PGT(Bio) bade vote of thanks.
CELEBRATION OF ANNUAL DAY Annual day was celebrated on Nov. 28,2011 with great pomp and show under the guidance of honble principal Sh. N.K. Pandey. Sh. Pankaj Kumar (IAS) distt Magistrate,MZN and exofficio charman VMC,KVMZN was inivited as the chief Guest to grace the occasion .Mr. R.K. Chaudhary Chief Development officer represented him as he could not attend the celebration due to administrative exigency. Mr. Chaudhary inaugrated the function with Lamp Lighting. The program got a vey big applause from thousands of onlooker as it proceeded on Saraswati Vandana, Welcome Song,Dandiya " Rang Taari",Rajasthani Dance,Chaumaisa was appreciated.Hindi Skit and English Skit "WAKE UP SID" concluded with a messgae against corruption and bringing up of children."Mera Achhe Chandamama and Bhangda won the hearts of one and all. Solo dance performance of master Samarth left the onlookers. mesmerized and charming Ms. Drishti and Sakshi Chaudhary also performed nicely.Hon'ble Principal Sh. N.K. Pandey highlighted the achievements of the Vidyalaya in his Annual Report. Sh. Ram Manohar Mishra ADM MZN,Mrs. Prena Mittal ,Sh. Prakash Soona and Shair Nazan were among distinguished gentries. Under the guidance of convener Mr. Ghanshyam Badal Ms. Kriti Jain,Ms. Vasudha and Ms. Shrishti Sharma organised the stage. Dr. Priya Bhargava ,Mrs. Anuradha Maini and Master Prateek Sharma synchronised the ptogram with music. THe whole program was convened and anchored by CCA Coordinator Mr. Ghanshyam Badal .Outstanding performance were flourished on this occassion.The reports of Annual Day celebration was published in Hindustan,Amar Ujala,Janwani,Danik Jagran and other Local leading newspaper with due weightage and importance. The session commenced on April 1,2011 and reshuffling of houses was done on April 02,2011. The houses were renamed as Gandhi,Subhash,Tagore and Raman(GSTR)Houses. On April 23,2011 the house officials were selected and nominated for the reconstitution of students councill eg.House Captains,CCA Captains,Sports Captains,Publication Committee,and other post were created as per the direction of KVS.Vice-Captains have also been appointed respectively for all departments. After the summer break on July 2011 an essay writing,poster making and drawing competition was organised in respect of population day. A mass participation was made by the students. Master Vidhu pratap Singh VIIIB(Ist), Ms. Shruti Singh VIIA (2nd), Ms. Hema Chaudhary VIIA(3rd) were the winners in Hindi Nibandh lekhan Partiyogita repectively.The subject was "JANSANKHAYA VISPHOT": KARAN, PRABAHAB VA SAMADHAN". In english article writing competition on the same topic the winners were Ishita Tyagi IXB(Ist),Pranshu Garg VIIIB(2nd), Chetna Sethi IXB(3rd). In the group of VI-IX Classes.In senior group (X-XII)Ms. Shipra XIIA(1st),Master Uttraksh Mishra and Muskan both XIA(2nd) and Ms. VARTIKA XB(3rd). On Aug,15 A colourful cultural programme was organised and the students celebrated 65th Independence Day with pompand show.A group dance competition was organised for the Primary Wing sucessfully.On Sept 03,2011 a DEBATE Competition on the motion "UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD IS MORE VALUABLE THAN PATRIOTISM" . In senior group Ms. Vasundhara XA(Raman House) stood first while Master Rohan IXA(Tagore House) stood 2nd and Shivani XA(Raman House) stood 3rd as individualls while Raman House stood 1st and Tagore grabbed second position as teams. In Junior group (VI -VIII) Apoorva Singhal VIIIA (Gandhi House) stood first,Digvijay VIIIA of Tagore House stood second and Sachin VIIIA of Raman House stood third respectively.In this section Tagore House was the winner and Raman House was runner up as teams. Sadbhawana Divas was observed on Aug. 20, as the anniversary of Sh. Rajiv Gandhi.On teachers day the students took hold of the Vidyalaya and performed nicely in the class teaching master Dhruv Singhal XIIA and Ms. Paril XIIA bracked on the first position while master Aatir XIIA and Ms. Jagriti XIIB grabbed 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Though SA1 exams commenced wef Sept 12,2011 yet Hindi Pakhwara was inaugrated on Sept 14, on Hindi Divas and Hindi Dept. orgaised several activities during this duartion which conculded with Kavi Darbar on Sept 28,2011. The Vidyalaya paid attribute to Mathama Gandhi,the Father of Nation and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri on their anniversaries conducting a "SARVADHARAMA SAMBHAV SABHA". and fancy dress competition, HIndi speech competition on Gandhi Ji / Shastri Ji ka Desh ko Yogdaan.
CCA REPORT  SESSION 2010-2011 The session started on April 1,2010. Houses got reshuffled on 17.4.2010 and a creative writing competition was held successfully on April 24,2010 in which mass participation was made by the students. On the reopening of the Vidyalaya after Summer Vacations selection of the captains was done on June 20, a class wise drawing & painting competition was held in the house meeting held on July 3,2010 held as per instructions of KVS, Population day was observed in the Vidyalaya and drawing competition, Essay writing Competition, Slogan Writing competition and Article writing competition were organized successfully. Principal Mr. N.K. Pandey gave away fabulous prizes to the winners in different categories. Due to F.A.1 tests and closing of Vidyalaya due to Kanwar no competition could be held w.e.f. 23.7.2010 up to 14.8.2010. Independence Day was celebrated with pomp and show on 15.8.2010.Hon’ble Principal Mr. N.K. Pandey hoisted the National Flag. Students presented colorful programs. The parents of the toppers of class XII, witnessed and appreciated the programmes conducted under the co-ordination of Mr. G.S. Dass.Sh. Madan Pal (PGT Hindi)& Mr. Ajeet Singh (PGT, Physics) also addressed the students. A debate competition on the motion “India has potential to lead the world” was organized on 1.9.2010 successfully. * In the House Meeting held on 21.8.2010 process of the constitution of “Student Council “ started and captains, vice captains, sports captain/vice captains,CCA Captains/ Vice Captains, House prefects were selected both for the girls & boys separately. *On 27.8.2010 Social Science Exhibition was held at Vidyalaya level in which along with charts, models & picture. Rakhi made by the students in Rakhi making competition were also displayed.  *The exhibition remain in time lime light in leading news papers and local channels also Hon’ble principal Mr. N.K. Pandey inaugurated the exhibition. Coordination went to Mr. G.S. Dass I/C, CCA & Mr. Shashank Tomar TGT Social Science. On 4/5 September Teachers Day was celebrated in the Vidyalaya paying rich tribute to the teachers. Best found pupil teachers were also honored on the occasion. Pupil teachers presented cultural programmes and organized various activities. Principal Sh. N.K. Pandey, Mr. G.S. Dass & Mr. R.P. Singh addressed the valedictory function.
A REPORT : Population Day  Competitions As per KVS guidelines, in order to observe ‘Population Day’ different Competitions were held in the Vidyalaya. Whole Vidyalaya was divided in five groups and one competition was held for each category as mentioned below: Category 1. Class 1 TO 3 Drawing Competition ( Small Family Happy Family) Category 2. Class 11 To 12 Article/Essay Writing Competition ‘Population Explosion , A curse’/ ‘JANSANKHYA VISPHOT: EK ABHISHAAP’ Mass participation was made by the students and an overwhelming response has been found. ANNUAL FUNCTION 2009-2010 Pomp & show, grace & Cultural Vividness The Vidyalaya celebrated its Annual function for the session 2009-2010 on 27th of April,2010 in the Vidyalaya premises. In this colourful and multivariate programme hon’ble Sh. Santosh Kumar Yadav, IAS Distt. Magistrate Muzaffarnagar who is the Chairman VMC of KV, Muzaffarnagar added grace and glory presiding the programme as Chief Guest. The programme proved to be a great success and an eye catcher for one and all. The charm and magic started just from the very beginning. Soon after the lamp lightening, Saraswati Vandana & welcome song all most all the cultural item got a big applause from the on lookers and distinguished guest. This nine minute ‘spell’ included the gems of dance drama (“Andher Nagar..”),Science, fiction Play, Classical dances, Songs, Popular dances, Orchestra sow and every thing to cheer up the spectators. Ms. Mahin IIA,Ms. Ankita XA nd Ms. Diksha conducted the function nicely as anchors under the able guidance of Mr. G.S. Dass Co-coordinator CCA. Mrs. Rama Raghuram Principal K.V. , Muzaffarnagar got a big hand from the guests, parents, visitors and everybody present when she mentioned the achievements of the Vidyalaya during the session. There was a big applause when she announced outstanding second position of the Vidyalaya in Dehradun region. Hon’ble Chief Guest Sh. S.K. Yadav gave away the prizes and awards simultaneously to the students as well as to the teachers for their achievements in their respective fields. Dr. Dinesh Singh Principal S.D. Degree college and many others added colours to the function. Media gave a wide coverage to the function and the same got long prime time bytes on electronics Media also.Mrs. Akshay Kumari PGT(Bio) concluded the function with vote of thanks. CCA REPORT 2009-10 With the commencement of the session 2009-2010 Co-Curricular Activities came to the track. *House-reshuffling was done in the first and second weeks of April'09. To bring a freshness, the houses were renamed as JAL, AGNI, PRITHVI & AKASH *Annual function was organised on April 29, 2009.Mr. Bhuvnesh Chandra,D.M. Muzaffarnagar and Chirman VMC,K.V. Muzaffarnagar appreciated the colourful and multivariate Cultural Programmes whole heartedly almost 400 students participated directly or indirectly.Mrs. Rama Raghuram principal bade the vote of thanks .Mr. G.S. Dass TGT English Co-ordinated and presented the programme as the anchor person along with Miss. Anita (XA) and Ms. Sakshi Jain(XII). Hindustan, Amarujala,Dainik Jagran and local news papers published the news of the grand sucess of the programme. * Hindi Debate competition on the Motion "Sadhya Saadhan Se Adhik Mahattarpurn Hai" was held on July 8,2009. Ms. Tanu Rana (XII) Ms. Anu Chaudhary (XII) nad Ma. Subham (XII) snached I,I, & III positions respectively in Sr. Group while Ms. Shivani (VIIIA), Ms. Apoorva Singhal(VIA) & Ma. Various topics were given to the students in class IX Vinay singh Chauhan of IXB stood Ist while Ms. Muskan Rathi IXB and Swati IXB got II and III position. In IXA Ms. Ayushi , Ma. Shivam and Ma. Ayush Arora were declared I,II and III respectively. In XA the winners were Ms. Anu Sharma, Yusra Mariam and Ma. Akshay Raghuvanshi snatched I,II and III positions.The topic for IX and X classes was "India Vision 2025". In XB Ma. Dhruv Singhal,Ma. Ashish Sharma and Ms. Shubhamgi Sharma were the I three position holders respectively. In class XI and XII the topic for English essay writing was Teachers' day was celebrated on Sept 05,2009. The students of class XII played the role of teachers. Ms. Vandana Saini did well as the Principal. In teaching Ma. Shashank (XII), Ma. Udit (XII) stood first and Second respectively while Ms. Anu Chaudhary and Ma. Siddharth brackted for third poisition. A cricket Match was also played between the teachers and the students in which the students were winners. Hindi Pakhwara is being celebrated since Sept. 14, 2009 as per the instructions of KVS. The Hindi Day was observed on Sept 14, Mr. B.S. Sengar, Principal Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Baghra inaugurated the "Hindi Pakhwara".Various Competitions have been organized during the Hindi Pakhwara such as Hindi Essay Writing Competition,Ashu Bhasan and Antyakshari etc.The Pakhwara will conclude with Kavi Darbar on 24th Sept,2009. ‘AASGU BHASHAN PRATIYOGITA’ in Hindi was conducted on Oct 7,2009.Ms. Achal Chaudhary XIA of Akash House snached I position while Ms. Deeksha (XIB) of Jal House & Ms. Sadiya Samar (XI A) of Akash House stood Second & Third respectively. In ‘MANASPAATH’ Competition held on 28.10.2009 Akash House & Prithvi House were declared winner, while Jal House stood third. In Patriotic Group song competition Akash House was the winner while Second and third position were grabed by Jal & Prithvi Houses respectively. Nov.11, 2009 was observed as the birth anniversary of Dr. Moulana Abul Kalan Azad along with the address by Hon’ble principal Mrs. Rama Raghuram and Mr. G.S. Dass,Co-ordinator CCA. A Quiz competition was held ,each team was comprised with four students(Two boys & two girls) from each house. The competition proved a great success in which JAL House emerged as winner while PRITHVI &AKASH Houses followed as I Runners up and Second runners up. Ms. Ankita Singh XA, conducted the quiz. ‘BAL DIWAS’ was celebrated on 13th Nov as 14th Nov. was Second Saturday Poems,Songs,Speeches etc were represented on this occasion. Sweets were distributed among the children of primary wing Nov.19 was observed as the Birthday anniversary of late Mrs. Indira Gandhi.
ANNUAL FUNCTION : A REPORT
"EDUCATION FOR JOY" is the latest trend of Modern Education. Keeping this in view the Vidyalaya celebrated its Annual Function with zeal and joy. All colours of delight and Festa floated in the Vidyalaya on April 29,2009 when Chief Guest Mr. Bhvnesh Kumar (IAS,DM Muzaffarnagar &Chairman VMC) lightened the lamp before the idol of Mother Saraswati to inaugrate the celebration of "Annual Function".Dr. Dinesh Singh ,principal S.D. Degree college MZN, Mrs.Sukanya Devi,Mmebre VMC,Mrs. Rama Raghuram, Principal K.V. ,MZN along with the Vidyalaya staff and thousands of applauding spectators,parents and students not only witnessed the vivid and colourful cultural programme but also cheered and appreciated more than 250 participants.The cultural programme journed to the merry making 'Bhangra' passing through welcome song,colourful dances,melodius songs, dramas,bellets,kawwali and magnificient dance drama along with solo and group performances.the viewers were charmed not only by the 'Soul Soothing' qualitative cultural programmes but theyalso cheered Hon'ble principal Mrs. Rama Raghuram when she read out the annual report highlighting the glory bringing achivements and appreciated those who have brought laurrels to the Vidyalaya including students and teachers. the chief Guest and distinguished guests gave away prizes to the gainers and achievers.Teachers producing 100% result in C.B.S.E. Board Exams in X and +2 classes were also honoured. Ms. Sakshi Jain(XI),Ms Ankita (IXB) conducted the programme along with Mr. G.S. Dass(TGT,Eng and Co-ordinator) who designed and conved the whole programme.Media including News papers eg. Amar Ujala,Dainik Jagran,Hindustan and Cable network/Local Channels also published and telecasted the programme respectivelygiving due importance.
60TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION 60th Republic Day was celebrated in the Vidyalaya premises with colorful and Moral boosting cultural Programme. Principal Mrs. Rama Raghuram hoisted the National Flag, Scouts and Guides of the Vidyalaya gave guard of honour.The colorful cultural program commenced with slogan raising. Tiny tots of primary section presented an inspirational group song “HUM GEET SUHANA GAATE HAIN……”, Dance ‘Save Environment’ received a huge applause while Patriotie songs. Ms. Tanu Rana XI and Miss Anika IX A anchored the Program. Mr. G.S. Dass TGT (Eng) organized the stage. Principal Mrs. Rama Raghuram addressed the students and gave away almost 70 prizes for CCA Activities.The program met a great success.
REPORT ON YOGA AND DHYAN SESSION (18-12-2008) A YOGA and DHYAN session was arranged for the students appearing in Board Exams i.e. of class X and XII .Mr. Rahul Arya of Patanjali Yog Pith, Muzaffarnagar demonstrated various YOGA & DHYAN activities and 'ASANAS' to the students in the Activity Hall of the Vidyalya.Salient features of this session were Sukhasana, Pranayam,Anulom-Vilom,Deep Breathing and Dhyana. Mrs. Sushma Ahlawat(PET)and Mr.. Shalesh (COACH) organised the session. Principal Mrs. Rama Raghuram bade vote of thanks. Almost 115 students along with Mr. Ajeet Singh (PGT,Physics),Mr. Zahir Ahmad (WET) Mr. G.S. Dass(TGT Eng)and Mrs. V.L. KVS FOUNDATION DAY (15-12-2008) The Vidyalaya celebrated Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan's 44th Foundation Day with colourful cultural activities.On the occassion of the Foundation Day colourful and Varied songs,dances and community songs including 'Bharat Ka Swarnim Gaurav.....' were successfully presented by the students. Folk dances were upto mark, Group Dance presented by tiny tots was appreciable and received a loud applause from the audience. Mr. G.S. Dass and Mr. Madan Pal discoursed informative speeches highlighting the history and motto of the KVS.Almost 100 prizes were given away to the Primary section students for C.C.A. for the session 2007-08.Ms. Siddhi and Mas. CHILDRENS DAY CELEBRATION (14-11-2008) Kendriya Vidylaya Muzaffaranagar celebrated ‘CHILDREN’S DAY’ as its ‘ANNUAL SPORTS DAY’ on 14.112008.Mr. Subhash Chandra Sharma IAS, VMC chairman and District Magistrate, blessed the children and gave away prizes as the chief guest of the ceremony.Mr. Sanjeev Baliyan,Arjuna Awardee and Mr. Vishnu Rattan also distributed prizes and addressed the children. Mrs. Rama Raghuram, Principal in her vote of thanks, appreciated the children and called up them for excellence in Games and Sports, co-curricular and academic activities. Mr. Ghanshyam, ‘Badal’ convenved the programme and organized the stage. Under the guidance of Mrs. Sushma Ahlawat Ma. Aman Taygi, Nikhil, Aman Chaudhary,Adesh Baliyan,Prateek and Ms. Shivani, Ambika Tyagi, Pooja, Rashmi and Siddharth Maan won the Gold Medals in their respective events while Ma. NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY CELEBRATION A Glimpse of the Function (Nov. 11,2008) One Hundred 21st birthday of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was celebarted as the EDUCATION DAY in the school premises, various activities and competitions were held on this occassion which lasted wef. 06.11.2008 upto 11.11.2008.Principal M.G. Public School presided over the program as chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winners of different competitions namely essay writing competition in Hindi and English,Debate competition,Drawing and painting competition and Quiz competition. On this occassion a short but colourful cultural program was also conducted.Principal Mrs. Rama Raghuram, chief guest and Mr. G.S. Das addressed the student and threw an ample light on the life and work of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
MISSION GREEN EARTH PLANTATION DRIVE IN KENDRIYA VIDYALYA, MUZAFFARNAGAR A Plantation drive was conducted in the school premises under the project “MISSION GREENEARTH” on this occasion Hon’ble principal Smt. Rama Raghurama inaugurated the plantation drive by planting an “ASHOKA” plant. The students of all the class from class I to XII planted two plants under the guidance of their respective class teachers. Some interested students also brought some plants.50 Plants were made available by KV MZN. All these plants were planted in the school fields and lawns.Ms. Vandana (class XI) and some of the students took an oath on the behalf of all the students to protect and nourish the planted plants round the year. The plantation drive was convolved by Mr. G.S. Dass, TGT Eng andMr. M.Zahir Ahmad SUPW teacher successfully.
Independence Day 62nd Independence Day (15.08.2008) was celebrated in the Vidyalaya Campus.On this occassion Mr. Jitendra Chaudhary,father of Ma. Shubham Chaudhary,X class topper(session 2007-08)hoisetd the national flag as chief guest, Principal Mrs. Rama Raghuram presided over the programme.Colourful dances,action songs,discourses and Group Songs etc.were nicely performed by the students. Stage was organised by Arushi Tyagi and Swati Arora along with Mr. G.S. Dass(TGT Eng).Mr. Madanpal C.C.A, Co-ordinator bide vote of thanks.The programme came to an end with sweet distribution to the students.

Science Day The Vidyalaya celebrated the Science day on 28th Feb, 08 in the morning assembly. The Principal Mr. N.Singh inaugurated the function by offering flowers on the picture of Dr. C.V. Raman. The students of the Vidyalaya, threw light on the life of Dr. C.V. Raman. A Science quiz was organized on the topic General Science. Students of different classes delivered information on the life style, inventions and working of different Scientists. Convener of the programme Mrs. Akshay discussed on the difference between Science and Arts Streams. She emphasized on the point that Science is based on Principles and Arts is based on ideas. Principal Mr. N.Singh advised the students to develop scientific temperament and should be disciplined in life as a key to success. He further emphasized that a good citizen is one who is alert, labourious and disciplined.
