THINKING DAY CELEBRATION

On 22nd Feburary 2011,birthday of Lord Baden Powell was celebrated with great pomp and show. With roll call and flag hoisting.The Programme inaugrated by worthy Principal.Short Speech,Action Song-"Hum Bharat Ke Veer Sipahi" and "Hum Cub- BulBul Bachche" was sung with great enthusism followed by "Sarva Dharma Prarthana".

Cubs and Bulbuls decorated the tree Races like- Skipping,Hopping and Cyclng were orgnized.Children got refreshment packets at 1:30 p.m. and Cubs and Bulbuls participated in the drawing Competition that followed a short rest interval.

Scouts and Guides stayed for the evening Schedule.A Campfire was lit. Many Songs were sung along with "ag hui hai Roshan".The celebration ended with dinner at 8:00 p.m.

In the context of social service:-

 
  • Under the active and effective guidance of our worthly Principal. A trip was organised for social service. Our 92 Scouts & Guides went to ASHADEEP Rehabilitation Center for dump & deaf, Vishnu Vihar, Jansath Road , Muzaffarnagar on 15/10/09, escorted by Mr. R.P. Singh,Mrs. Yogita and Mr. Zaheer Ahmed. 
  • To convey and express the feeling of social service of KV Family our scouts and guides distributed sweets, fruits & clothes at the Auspicious occasion of Diwali among the students of “ASHADEEP” Rehabilitation Centre for Deaf and Dump. 
  • Our teacher , the teachers, the trainers and the Dept. Director of the institution Mr. E.Lal Sharma addressed the students and Express the students. 
  • Mr. E.LAL Sharma expressed thanks to the students, teachers and the principal of K.V. Muzaffarnagar.

CAMP REPORT

DAY: ONE
DATE: 18.07.09

The Basic & Advance training course for Scout Masters & Guide Captains started with the registration of participants from different Vidyalayas of Dehradun region at 8:00 a.m., followed by Inaugural Ceremony.

In the Inaugural Ceremony, Chief Guest Sh. Rajeev Gautam [Sec. (B S & G), Distt. Muzaffar Nagar (U.P.)] alongwith Guest of Honour Sh. Bharat Bhushan Arora [D. O. C. (S) Muzaffar Nagar] enlighted the lamp and BASIC COURSE FOR SCOUT MASTERS GUIDE & CAPTAINS started with blessings of Ma Saraswati. During Inaugural Session VENUE DIRECTOR, MS. RAMA RAGHURAM & COURSE CO-ORDINATOR, SH. K.K. UPADHYAY highlighted upon the important aspects of this course & blessed with ‘Best of Luck’ to all the participants to complete this course successfully.

After a short tea break, general information regarding scouting & guiding was discussed, emphasizing upon motto, duties etc., followed by introduction of all the participants & trainers.

After lunch all the participants were divided in different Patrols. Course co-ordinator Sh. K. K. Upadhyay discussed General Rules & Regulations associated with this course. Then Ms. Jyoti Joshi presented a Melodious Song.

In the evening session interesting & healthy sport events were organized. All the participants enjoyed it the most. After dinner, at 8:30 p.m. during Camp Fire some of the participants presented a beautiful Cultural Programme, everyone enjoyed it & felt relax. After the Light Out at 10:00 p.m. all the Trainers & Trainees went to their rooms to have a sleep.


DAY: TWO
DATE: 19.07.09

On the second day of The Basic & Advance training course for Scout Masters & Guide Captains camp roused at sharp 5:30 a.m. and all the participants gathered in the field at 6:30 a. m. as per already fixed schedule. Everyone learned & enjoyed B P six exercises under the able guidance of Sh. G. N. Khan [HWB(S)].

After a healthy & hygienic breakfast troops were inspected by trainers. Flag breaking started at 9:00 a.m. which reflected the remarkable improvement. The different sessions were inculcated with course objective e.g. scout prayer, scout & guide flag song, camp fire song, laws of scouts, scout pledge, & the session concluded with the topic ‘SARVA DHARMA PRARTHNAEIN’. After the flag procedure exercised by the trainers & trainees, the time was for little rest followed with dinner.

As usual camp fire started at 8:30p.m. The programme was chaired by Venue Director Ms. Rama Raghuram. From both the wings Scouts & Guides creative & sincere programme were presented.
Lights off at 10:00 p.m. were the start of our ‘NIRBHAY HO, TUM SOWO……….’.
 

 

DAY: THREE
DATE: 20.07.09

On the third day of The Basic & Advance training course for Scout Masters & Guide Captains camp roused at sharp 5:30 a.m. and after daily routine all the participants gathered in the field at 6:30 a. m., where Sh. G. N. Khan & Sh. R. D. Sharma discussed several useful tips of exercises. Then under their able guidance all the trainers & trainees performed B P six exercises.

After breakfast, participants assembled for Flag Breaking in the ground. Then in the library a fruitful session was conducted, in which Sh. K. K. Upadhyay delievered a lecture on ‘Scout Origin & Evolution’ in very interesting way. It was followed with the topics ‘National Anthem’ & ‘Scouts & Guides Uniform’, presented by Sh. M.P. Singh & Sh. G. N. Khan respectively. Then Sh. Bharat Bhushan Arora [D. O. C. (S) Muzaffar Nagar] introduced the power & value of scout songs & presented melodious songs ‘ JHOOM, JHOOM, JHAN, JHAN, BAJE……’ & ‘YE MITTI HINDUSTAN KI……….’ In very beautiful way. Every one learnt a lot & enjoyed the session.

After lunch all assembled in activity hall, where SPARE TIME ACTIVITIES [S. T. A.], were introduced. Valuable information about National Flag & Scout Flag was delivered by Sh. K. I. Akhtar. Participants were made acquainted with the Wood Craft Signs for Hiking, by Sh. Sharma.

After tea break under the main topic ‘Sudden Situations’, ‘How to Combat with Terrorist’ was discussed by Sh. M. P. Singh, followed by a fruitful critical debate on this topic by each Patrol. Then precious knowledge and information was given by Sh. K. K. Upadhyay on the topic ‘Hike’. After this session all the participants gathered in play ground & practicised ‘Knots’ of’ Pratham Sopan’.

Finally during Camp Fire each parol presented informable & entertaining programme. Then Ms. Poornima Pandey AL(S) of Uttarakhand Guides concluded the programme with an inspirational speech.
As usual Lights off at 10:00 p.m. were the start of our ‘NIRBHAY HO, TUM SOWO……….’.

 

DAY: FOUR
DATE: 21.07.09
As ususual on the fourth day, after B P SIX exercises & Flag Breaking all the participants took breakfast. Then they assembled in library to take session notes. Sh. Rajendra Singh Hanspal [State Organization Commissioner of Scouts & Guides] addressed all the participants & delivered a lecture containing fruitful information about Scouting & Guiding. Really this session was very beneficial for all.

During afternoon session participants were taught about Scouts & Guides ceremonies by Ms. Prema Thapa ALT(G), TGT K. V. Upper Camp, Dehradun. Also, Sh. K. K. Upadhyay highlighted upon Scouts & Guides organization. Then all the participants practicised ‘Knot Art’ & then a test for S. T. A s was conducted, followed by an official meeting with trainers.

After dinner Camp Fire was organized as an essential activity, in which all the Patrols presented their variable and moralistic cultural & religious programme. After singing Night tap song, this was the time for Lights Off.

 

DAY: FIVE
DATE: 22.07.09
Today all were excited, as it was the day for Hiking as well as there was Total Solar Eclipse. After B P SIX exercises & Flag Breaking all the participants took breakfast & then proceeded for Hiking. Patrol wise moving & recognizing hidden messages with the help of wood craft signs, marked in the way all the participants reached their destination ‘Shiva Temple’. In ‘Shiva Temple’ everyone chanted Shiva Mantra & devoted their time in Shiva Bhakti. After that they visited Balaji Temple & Durga Temple in Nai Mandi & then returned through the same path.

During afternoon session Sh. V. C. Shrivastava [Trainer] deliberated valuable information on Pratham Sopan. He also discussed the syllabus of Pratham Sopan & ‘How to Maintain the Register’. It was followed by a lecture on Dwitiya Sopan, presented in very beautiful way by Sh. L. C. Pandey. After tea break Sh. K. K. Upadhyay discussed the flag & its parts. He also discussed about unfurl & how to unfurl. Then during STA activities working on several knots & flag procedure were demonstrated by the Patrols. Participants were examined to test what they have learnt especially ‘Flag Song’ & ‘History of Scout: Origin & Evolution’.

During camp fire chief guest Ms. Purnima Pandey encouraged & blessed all the participants & an entertaining & educative programme was presented.

 

 

 

A CAMP
FOR
PRATHAM AND DWITIYA SOPAN
SESSION 2009-10


As per the K.V.S. direction for development and implement of scouting in our Vidyalaya. A camp was organized under the worthy and dynamic leadership of our Principal.
This camp was organized from 22, Aug-2009 to 24, Aug-2009
At K.V., Muzaffarnagar premises. Various activities were performed in this camp. In this camp 100 scouts and guides were participated.
Mottos of scout and guide camp were taught to the participants.
They were taught:-
A. Motto of Scouting
B. Importance of Scouting
C. Need and utility of Scouting in our Country.
D. Uniform: - How to wear the uniform properly.
E. Knotting: - Reaf Knott, Clove Hitch, timber Hitch and Sheet band etc.
F. How to build a tent.
G. Sanitary promoter: we trained our scouts and guides for sanitary promoter proficiency badge. The scouts and guide were taught that cleanliness is next to God.

We had called our guest and this great personality Mr. Bharat Bhushan Arora, District Organizing Commissioner, Distt. Muzaffarnagar (U.P.). The flag ceremony was shown to the participant by the guest, Motto of scouting, importance of scouting and its utility and application of scouting in the life of the people of our great country.
Our second guest was Mr. Neil Kumar, Scout Master S.D. Degree College, and Muzaffarnagar. He created keen interest among the participants. He makes understand our participant how to tie hitch the bamboo logs, various knots and tent formation.

The refreshment was distributed among the participant according to the K.V.S. norms. The participants enjoyed it very much.
Mr. Vinay Gupta, Mrs. Ritu Bhardwaj, Mr. R.P. Singh and Mr. Jitendra Kumar (PRTs) were coordinated the whole camp gracefully. Many activities were performed in the presence of our Vidyalaya worthy Principal

SESSION 2008-09

In the Session 2008-09 Scout and Guide activities are Live and Thriving in the Vidyalaya. In this Session 41 cubs,22 Bulbuls, 70 Scouts and 51 Guides are enrolled and most of the students are from class 6th. The three teachers Mrs. K.B. Wason (TGT English) attended the advance course for guide captains and Mrs. Rekha Kumawat (Drawing teacher) and Mr. Vinay Gupta (Primary teacher) attended the Basic course for Scouts and Guides in KV BHEL Haridwar from 14th July 2008 to 24th July 2008.

A two day camp was organised in the month of August 2008. A guest lecturer Mr. Bharat Bhushan Arora DOC Bharat Scouts & Guides UP State was invited and he gave the Lecture on the following Topics:

a. Scouts\Guides Promises and Laws

b. Parts of the Scouts and Guides Uniform

c. Significance of the Scout\Guide Flags

d. How to prepare for test\Exam

e. Taught different Yells

An examination was conducted and 55 students passed the pravesh examination. Each successful student was given a Scarf, a Vogal and a Certificate.

Six girls of the Vidyalaya passed tritiya Sopan test conducted in Sikh Lines Meerut.These are:

On 7th Nov, Flag Day was celebrated.

SESSION 2007-08

The Vidyalaya celebrated the birth anniversary of the founder of Indian Scouts Lord Baden Powal .The Principal Mr. N.Singh inaugurated the function by offering flowers on the picture of Lord Baden Powal and lighted the lamp.
The Scout flag was hosted in the Vidyalaya, the Scout and Guide sang the flag song and explained the Oath Rules to other Scouts. Cups and Bulbuls presented many educative programs in which awareness about the environment, communal Harmony and First Aid which inspired the other children.  
Respected Principal Sir gave light on the importance of Scout Guide in today’s world.
He gave his blessing and promoted the appreciated them. Lunch was organized by the Kendriya Vidyalaya in the last phase of programme to all the Scouts and Guides.

CURRENT EVENTS
                     
Current events four students (3scouts and 1 guide) have passed Pre test regarding Rajya Puruskar which was held at K V Birpur Dehradun and now they are participating in Rajya Puruskar testing camp at K V Pritampura Delhi(for scouts) and K V Shalimar Bagh Delhi (for guides).Four guides will participate in Rastrapati Puruskar testing camp in Oct 2007.
